This petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail for the petitioner herein for the case registered in Crime No.Not Known of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent states that the case has been registered against the petitioner herein in Crime No.198 of 2025 dated 17.08.2025 for the offence punishable under Section 4(1)(a), 4(1)(c), 4(1)(i) and 4(1)(A) of TNP (Amendment) Act and the petitioner is absconding in the said crime number. He further submitted that the respondent police had seized 10 bottles of 180ml brandy from this petitioner and in the course of seizure, the petitioner has pushed the respondent team and ran away.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the nature of offence and facts of the case, this Court 2/4

is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
