(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) This petition is filed by the petitioner /appellant seeking to condone the delay of 1107 days in preferring the above Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant. Despite the service of notice and the name of the respondents having been printed in the cause list. there is no representation for the respondents.

3. Having regard to the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and being satisfied with the same, this Court is inclined to condone the delay, subject to payment of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) towards costs in favour of the Chief Justice Relief Fund, High Court, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order, failing which, this order will stand automatically vacated, without further reference to this court.

4. Upon payment of costs and production of proof, this petition stands ordered.
