ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay the Petitioner the compensation of Rs.58,18,325/- being the value of the lands and irrigation Well in S.No. 27/2 at Nachinampatti Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District, with interest and Solatium

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, though the compensation was offered to the petitioner as early as on 23.02.2022, till date, no steps were taken by the respondents to pay the said amount to the petitioner. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's request will be considered and the amount will be paid by the respondent within a period of 3 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

6. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to pay the Petitioner the compensation of Rs.58,18,325/- being the value of the lands and irrigation Well in S.No. 27/2 at Nachinampatti Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District, with interest and Solatium, in accordance with law, within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
