The petitioner seeks bail in C.C.No.4771 of 2020 pending on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate No.V, Egmore, which is now posted on 09.11.2023 for examination of L.W.1 and other witnesses. 2.The petitioner had absconded during the trial and Non Bailable Warrant was issued against him on 02.12.2021 and he had been secured on only on 06.07.2023.
3.It is stated by the respondent that there are several cases against the petitioner including Section 302 and 307 of IPC. 4.Taking all those factors into consideration, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
5.Let L.W.1 be examined and cross examined and thereafter, the petitioner can come forward to tender evidence. But if there is delay in recording evidence in-chief , the petitioner may come again seeking the same relief.
