The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.475 of 2018, which after investigation and final report having been filed in C.C.No.877 of 2019 and the same has been pending before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore.

2.The petitioner had absconded from the judicial process and Non Bailable Warrant was issued against him on 20.04.2023 and the petitioner was secured only on 06.07.2023.

3.It is seen that the case now stands posted for evidence of L.W.1 to L.W.5 on 09.11.2023. Let atleast the defacto complainant be examined by the Court and thereafter, fresh application for bail can be considered. 4.Let the trial proceed further. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
