The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide information based on the petitioner RTI Application dated 21.06.2022.
2. The application submitted by the petitioner under RTI Act to the 1st respondent/District Collector Office since has been forwarded to the 2nd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer who in turn forwarded the same to the Tahsildar concerned who is the proper officer to give such information. As the information sought for by the petitioner if at all to be given has to be given only by the Tahsildar concerned and the said Tahsildar since has not been impleaded as one of the party respondent in this writ petition, this Court suo motu impleads the Tahsildar, Kallakurichi, Kallakurichi District as one of the party respondent. The Registry is directed to carryout the amendment.
3. Mr.R.Kumaravel, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 2 as well as the newly impleaded respondent. He submits that, if the application submitted by the petitioner under RTI has already been forwarded to the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar who has been just 2/4
impleaded, it shall be considered and passed orders thereon where if the informations are available with the said office, it would be furnished to the petitioner at the earliest.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: That there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar, Kallakurichi to pass orders on the RTI application submitted by the petitioner which was forwarded from the District Collector Office through the Revenue Divisional Officer to the office of the 3rd respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
