ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner to punish the respondent for the alleged willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 2.7.2021 in W.P.No.13732 of 2021.

2. Today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, learned State Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 2.7.2021 in W.P.No.13732 of 2021, the representation of the petitioner has been considered and rejected by the respondent and, thus, the order of this Court has been duly complied with. In support, learned State Government Pleader has produced the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Ponneri Taluk in Na.Ka.No.296/2023/Aa2, dated 15.03.2023. He has also handed over a copy of the same to learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Since the order of this Court has been duly complied with, the contempt petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the proceedings dated 15.03.2023, he can work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
