O R D E R

The petitioners herein, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a) of TNP 1/4

Act r/w 4(1)(C) of TNP Amendment Act, 2024 in Crime No.527 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioners herein are son and mother. During patrol, 18 bottles of Vorien brandy, each consisting 180 ml were recovered from the backyard of the petitioners' home. On seeing the raiding party, the petitioners gone absconding.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the second petitioner is having three previous cases of similar nature. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. Considering the said objection, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
