ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner life and his house construction work in new survey No.164/3 old survey No.104 situated at Sembiyamadevi Village, Kallakurichi District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2022. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had given a complaint dated 17.10.2022 to the second respondent police against the third respondent and others. On receipt of the same, the second respondent police registered a case in Crime No.235 of 2022 for offences punishable under Sections 448, 453, 427 & 506(2) IPC. However, when the petitioner had put up a construction, the third respondent interfered and disturbed the same. Therefore, further representation has also been given by the petitioner to the second respondent police as against the third respondent and her henchmen.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the 1st and 2nd respondents submits that on receipt of further representation dated 09.11.2022, the second respondent issued CSR No.789 of 2022 on 15.11.2022, which is pending for enquiry.

4.Considering the above submission, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on C.S.R.No.789 of 2022 after issuing notice to the petitioner and the third respondents and others and dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
