The petitioner is A8 in Crime No.156 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 120(B), 302 of IPC and subsequently altered to Sections 120(B), 147, 302, 201 & 212 of IPC, seeks bail.
2. It is stated that the petitioner had been in judicial custody from 07.08.2023 with respect to an incident, which had taken place on 03.05.2023.
3. It is stated that the 1st accused had a running quarrel with the defacto complainant, as a result of which, both A1 and A2 had threatened that they would do away with the deceased. The deceased had been detained under Act 14 of 1982 and after he was released, all the accused called him for a birthday party and there, the deceased had been murdered.

4. It is stated that A1 had been released on bail but the role of the present petitioner requires further examination and the investigation is still under progress.
