criminal action against the 4th respondent for having committed illegally transferred a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- from the account of the Athipattu Village Panchayat, Kumaratchi Panchayat Union, Cuddalore District, by considering the representation dated 19.08.2024 sent by the petitioner in accordance with law.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Petitioner's case is, respondent No.4 had illegally transferred a sum of Rs.One Lakh from the account of the Athipattu Village Panchayat, Kumaratchi Panchayat Union, Cuddalore District, to his personal account and when the illegality was found, re-transferred the amount to the Panchayat Union account. Counsel states that respondent No.4 should be punished for having dared to commit such an illegality.

2. Mr.Prabhakar states that the present Panchayat President has already lodged a police complaint and police is looking into the matter.

3. In view thereof, nothing remains in the petition. Petition disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
