The petitioner running the saloon in the CRPF campus at Avadi, while the defacto complainant's minor child was returning from Karathe class along with his brother, had misbehaved and sexually harassed by this petitioner. The defacto 1/4

complainant chased him and reported the matter to her parents. Thus, the complaint came to be registered on 29.07.2025 and this accused was arrested for the offence under Sections 9(b)(i)(ii) r/w 10 of POCSO Act.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C has been recorded from the victim girl and from her statement, it appears there is one more person who might have involved in the crime and hence the investigation is proceeding against this crime.

3. Considering the said fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed for the present. 22.08.2025 drl To 2/4
