This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.257 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police and quash the First Information Report dated 12.04.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed and the final report has also been filed as further action dropped before the Judicial Magistrate, Avinashi on 26.02.2019.

4. In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), nothing survives for further consideration in this Petition.
