The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.04.2023 for the offence under Sections 5(1), 5(j)(ii) and 6(1) of POCSO Act, on the file of the respondent Police in Crime No.4 of 2023, seeks bail.

2.The petitioner is aged 31 years and the victim girl is aged 14 years and studying in 9th standard. It is stated that on 09.01.2023, the petitioner had forcible sexual intercourse with the victim girl and committed the offence as stated above. The victim girl also became pregnant.

3.It is also stated by the petitioner that the petitioner would arrange for the marriage of the victim girl with his younger brother.

4. Let the material evidence be examined and if there be any change in circumstances, thereafter, the relief sought for by the petitioner can be considered.
