Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to forthwith pay a sum of Rs.29,28,950.00/- being the interest due payable to the petitioner against the delay payments for the wind energy that has been supplied by the petitioner to the respondents herein.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a mandamus to the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.29,28,950/- towards interest to the petitioner for the wind energy supplied by the petitioner.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner entered into agreements with TANGEDCO and had supplied the wind energy. Towards the same, a total sum of Rs.29,28,950/- is payable by way of interest. In spite of repeated representations, the payment has not been made. Hence, left with no other option, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case
and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a comprehensive representation before the second respondent along with the relevant documents and the copy of this order. The second respondent shall act upon the same and the amounts due and payable to the petitioner shall be paid, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of representation from the petitioner. If the payment is not made within the time frame fixed by this Court, it will carry interest at the rate of 7.5% per annum from the date it became due and payable till the date of actual payment.
