petitioner in the category of Draughtsman, and to issue consequential direction to the respondents to regularize services of the petitioner in the category of Land Surveyor from the date of his initial appointment with all consequential benefits.

When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 20.04.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the matter was ordered to be posted on 23.04.2018 under the caption 'for dismissal'.

2. Today, even though, the matter is listed 'for dismissal', neither the petitioner nor his counsel is present to prosecute the matter. Hence the Writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
