This Application coming on this day before this court for hearing, the Court made the following order:

This application has been filed under Order XXXIX Rule 2A of C.P.C., seeking to punish the respondent for having committed contempt of the interim order of injunction granted in the suit. 2.Mr.Anand Sashidharan, learned counsel appearing for the defendant / respondent would submit that the formalities have been completed and the Registrar of Companies has also approved the name change as proposed by the defendant and therefore, nothing survives in this application. 3.Mr.Rahul M.Shankar, learned counsel appearing for the applicant would submit that the factum of change of the corporate name of the defendant has been approved by the Registrar of Companies and the proceedings have been furnished to him.

4.In view of the said statement made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this application is closed as having become infructuous.
