Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, restraining the first and second respondents from in any manner transferring the electricity connection No.09315368380 existing in the name of the petitioner or granting fresh electricity service connection in the name of the third respondent or any

other third party in respect of the property at S.No.413/2A6, 413/1F4, 413/1G4, 413/2B, Perumbakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed restraining the first and second respondents from in any manner transferring the electricity connection No.09315368380 existing in the name of the petitioner or granting fresh electricity service connection in the name of the third respondent or any other third party in respect of the property at S.No.413/2A6, 413/1F4, 413/1G4, 413/2B, Perumbakkam Village, Sholinganallur, Taluk, Chennai Taluk.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ

petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the third and fourth respondents and give an opportunity of hearing to them, on the representation submitted by the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if any civil suits are pending in respect of title over the subject property, the second respondent is directed to pass order subject to the result of the suits.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
