ORDER
In this case, the offences complained of are under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 The occurrence took place on 25.12.2022 and the final report was filed on 11.01.2023. Even though the names of the accused are mentioned and it is said that they are in a Sri Lankan camp, it is reported that no such persons exist in the said camp and the whereabouts of the accused are completely not known. In spite of best efforts, for the past 3 years the said persons are not traceable and it is believed that 1/3
they could have been repatriated to their country.
2. In view thereof, no useful purpose will be served in continuing these proceedings. Accordingly, the C.C. No.219 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate II, Attur Taluk, Salem shall stand quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed.
20.08.2025 nsl electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
