ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to Quash the proceedings in C.C.No.129 of 2011 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate at Neyveli.

2. It is alleged that the prosecution is motivated and perusal of the materials produced by the applicant itself indicate that the victims sustained injuries. It is the contention of the Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that, three witnesses have already been examined. At this stage, the present petition has been filed and stay has also been obtained. When the trial is in the halfway and there are prima facie materials available to proceed with the case, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the Charge Sheet and the trial.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. The Petitioner is directed to cooperate with the trial. The trial Court shall expedite the trial and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.
