This was originally split up from C.C.No.332 of 2014 and is now pending as C.C.No. 214 of 2025.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, it is reported before this Court by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the petitioner police that the sole accused in the split-up case in C.C.No. 214 of 2025, namely Muthukumar, has since died.

Magistrate II, Salem Taluk, Salem is closed as having abated and this suo motu transfer case stands allowed.
