O R D E R
The petitioners herein apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 316(2) of BNS, in Crime No. Not known of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the 1st petitioner was in a relationship with the de-facto complainant and had borrowed 40 sovereigns of gold ornaments and a sum of Rs.1 lakh and thereafter failed to repay the same. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case and hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail. He further submitted that, without mentioning the crime number, a case has been registered against the petitioners for the major offence under Section 69 of the B.N.S Act.
5. Recording the same, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to 2/4
the petitioners.
