ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1), 5(1)(a) of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act in Crime No.118 of 2017, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that she joined hands with other accused forced the victim girl to participate in the prostitutions and accordingly they are running the brothel house and subsequently on the complaint lodged, A2 was arrested and the victim girl was secured.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for the purpose of detaining the petitioner under Act 14 of 1982 and false cases lodged against the petitioner and therefore, he prays to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, reported that the statement of victim clearly reveals that this petitioner is the one who is running the brothel house. The statement of the victim girl has been produced before this Court and opposed to grant

anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering nature of the allegation and statement of the victim girl, and that the petitioner is also actively participated in the occurrence and she is also having 12 previous cases against her, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
