Mahalakshmi, who was born on 31.12.2004, now aged about 15 years, within the time stipulated by this Court and consequently direct the Respondents to pay interim compensation of Rs.4 lakhs to the Petitioner's minor daughter viz. Mahalakshmi, now aged about 15 years, to the Petitioner.

(Order of the Court made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.) Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 25.10.2019, Compliance Report has been filed by the 3rd Respondent. The Compliance Report indicates the successful termination of the fetus. The fetus has also been preserved for DNA test, as ordered by this Court. Thus, we are satisfied with the
compliance made.

Insofar as the additional relief of payment of compensation sought by the Petitioner, we are of the view that the Petitioner can approach the District Legal Services Authority, Salem. As and when the Petitioner approaches the District Legal Services Authority, Salem, in respect of payment of compensation, the said authority shall look into the same and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
