COMMON ORDER These Contempt Petitions have been filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court in WP.Nos.26133 & 26136 of 2024 dated 05.09.2024, was not complied with.

2.When the contempt petitions were taken up for hearing today, the compliance affidavit of the Chairman of TNPSC was produced and the relevant portions are extracted hereunder:

10.I submit that in compliance of the above said court order dated 05.09.2025 Oral Test was conducted for both the petitioners on 26.03.2025. Subsequently both the petitioners were selected and the Selection list has been forwarded to the appointing authority on 26.03.2025.

11.I submit that in such a scenario, in obedience to the directions of this Hon'ble High Court, TNPSC has completed the selection process in accordance with law and in tune with the directions of this Hon'ble Court. I further submit that this respondent has highest regard for this Hon'ble Court and have always followed the directions issued as per law. 3.The relevant communication dated 26.03.2025, was sent to the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board and the provisional appointment order dated 27.03.2025, was also placed before this Court.
