This writ petition has been filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to replace the defective meter and reassess the consumed units with regard
to consumer No 0932801457 for the bill month of October 2019 and consequentially direct the respondents herein to permit the petitioner to make payment for the actual units consumed for the bill month of October 2019 after the reassessment. 2.The petitioner herein aggrieved by the defective meter and assessment based on the defective meter has approached this Court seeking Mandamus to replace the defective meter and reassess the consumption units.
3.After notice, the 3rd respondent has replaced the meter and reassessed the consumption of the petitioner herein. 4.In the light of the subsequent development as stated above, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that nothing survives in this writ petition.
5.Recording the above statement, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
