ORDER

This petition is filed seeking to direct the respondent police to file the charge sheet in Cr. No.1684/2018 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, the respondent police had registered a case on 09.11.2018 in Cr. No.1684/2018 for the offences under Section 420 & 406 IPC; despite the case been registered in the year 2018, so far charge sheet has not been filed; hence the petitioner has filed this present petition to file final report.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that draft charge sheet is ready and it is sent for the perusal of Assistant Public Prosecutor; since investigation has already been completed, after complying the formalities, the charge sheet will be filed within a period of one month.

4. In view of the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the respondent is directed to file charge sheet within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
