Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.03.2025 for issuance of individual patta by subdividing the property in respect of his property comprised in Survey No.171/7, admeasuring to an extent of 0.12 cents out of the total extent of 0.56 cents, situated at Vengappakkam Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District. This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.03.2025 for issuance of individual patta by subdividing the property in respect of his property comprised in Survey No.171/7, admeasuring to an extent of 0.12 cents out of the total extent of 0.56 cents, situated at Vengappakkam Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District.

2. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, 2/4

the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 14.03.2025 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 9 and giving them personal opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
