O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take action towards the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2022 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner seeks for a writ of mandamus to the respondents especially the 1st respondent to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2022. In the said representation the petitioner stated that there has been a Will which was registered as Document No.47 of 2002 on the file of the 3rd respondent, which according to the petitioner is a forged document, therefore it shall be cancelled.

3. Insofar as such kind of cancellation of Will which has already been registered is concerned, this Court feels that the parties have to approach the competent civil Court as it may not be covered either under Section 22A or 22B of the Registration Act as per the recent amendment. 4.In that view of the matter, the plea made by the petitioner cannot be directed to be considered by the first respondent / Inspector General of Registration. Therefore, the writ petition fails and accordingly it is dismissed. No 2 / 4

costs.
