O R D E R

Heard Ms. Preethi S.Arasu, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. Arun Babu, Learned Counsel for the First Respondent and Mr. L.Jai Venkatesh, Learned Counsel for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Petitioner, who had obtained Street Vendors Licence identity card, has filed this Writ Petition seeking direction to consider the representation dated 29.08.2022 made by the Petitioner to the First Respondent to issue no objection certificate for electricity connection to the shop of the Petitioner in at Adyar as per the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.

In furtherance to the order passed by this Court on 25.11.2022, the First Respondent has filed Action Taken Report dated 28.11.2022 stating that after 2/4

inspection of the property, it was found that there are 34 lamp posts in the said locality with proper lighting in which the bunk shop was located in between two lamp posts with pucca lighting to run the shop without any hindrance, which is sufficient to run the shop even in the evening hours. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner also accepts the same and has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

As nothing remains for further consideration, the Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
