ORDER

(Through Video Conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to set aside the order in Memo.SR.No. 10185 of 2017 in S.C. No.348 of 2015 dated 08.08.2017, passed by the learned VII Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent/state, on instructions, submitted that the accused persons have already been convicted in S.C.No.348 of 2015 dated 04.08.2021 before the I Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai - 600 104. He has also produced a copy of the judgment before this Court, pronounced by the Trial Court and the same was recorded. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioners/accused has now become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
