LIMITED, RAJI STOWER, 2ND FLOOR, 2ND AVENUE, PLOT NO. 2054, NEXT TO GRT JEWELLERY, ANNA NAGAR, CHENNAI Vs RAVI [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant interim stay of all further proceedings pursuant to the Judgment and Decree made in MCOP NO.1103/2013, dated 30.6.2017 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Special Subordinate Court, Thiruvannamalai, (CMP.22355/2017) pending disposal of the appeal CMA.

3532/2017 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.N.VIJAYARAGHAVAN, FOR M/S.M.B.GOPALAN ASSOCIATE, Advocate for the petitioner and of MS.M.MALAR, Advocate for the Respondent the court made the following order:- In this petition, by order dated 08.01.2018, this Court granted interim stay on condition that the appellant Insurance Company deposits the entire award amount within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, failing which the interim stay granted shall stand vacated automatically, without any further reference to this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to answer as to whether the amount ordered to be deposited has been deposited or not.

3.In the circumstances, this petition is closed by virtue of the specific clause in the order dated 08.01.2018 as stated in paragraph-1 above.

4.Post the appeal on 08.09.2020.
