ORDER
The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from in any manner disturbing the petitioners building / shed situated at No.1/182, ECR, Kottivakkam, Chennai - 41 without due process of law. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as per the directions of 2/4
this Court vide its order dated 17.10.2023, the petitioner has vacated the premises and handed over the possession to the respondents and the order of this Court dated 17.10.2023 has been complied with.
3.Mr.P.Gurunathan, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the writ petitioner has vacated the premises and handed over the possession to them. He added that the building is under demolition and that it would be completed by 18.12.2023. 4.This Court records the submissions of the learned counsel on either side. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. With regard to compensation for the acquired land, the petitioner is granted liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
