O R D E R
Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 2 and 3 herein to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 17.06.2025 submitted by the Petitioner to rectifiy the mistake in the FMB sketch and UDR in respect of the property in New Survey No.94/13B1 and 94/13B2 (Old Survey No.94/13B) of Kandavaratti Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the property to an extent of 25 cents in Survey No.94/13B of Kandavaratti Village, Vandavasi Taluk. Thiruvannamalai District was owned by the Petitioner's great grandfather viz., Mr.Rasannan Mudaliar. The legal heirs of the petitioner's great grandfather namely one Chinnadurai and Rajagopal (the petitioner's granfather) partitioned the above said property by equally dividing them to 2 1⁄2 cents each. Thereafter, the legal heirs of Mr.Chinnadurai viz., Mr.Shanmugam and Mr.Kasilingam, the respondents 4 and 5 herein equally divided their father's share to 61⁄2 cents each.
The Petitioner's grandfather had given 121⁄2 cents of land belonged to him to the petitioner's father and after demise of the petitioner's grandfather, the above said property along with other properties were partitioned by the Petitioner and his father and his brother Mr.Jaishankar and the same was registered as Document No.1201 of 2025 and the abovesaid property was allotted to the petitioner as his share and thereafter the property was sub divided as New Survey No.94/13B1 and subsequently the petitioner constructed a house thereon and he has been residing in it since then. Further, he would submit that while subdividing the property to an extent of 25 cents in No.94/13B, it was wrongly mentioned in the FMB Sketch as 12.
12.0 Mtr. (East to West on South side) for his portion. Whereas, it should be 12.2 Mtr., (East to West on South Side) to both portions equally. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 requesting them to rectify the mistake in the FMB sketch and UDR. Since, no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the respondents will pass orders on the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated period.
5. Heard both sides.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 5th respondent and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the 5th respondent as well as any of the 4/7
interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
