O R D E R
The Contempt Petition is filed by the petitioner against the order passed in the Writ Petition No. 3357 of 2017 dated 09.06.2023 asking the respondents to pay all the terminal benefits entitled to the petitioner within a period of six weeks with a liberty to petitioner to challenge the G.O.Ms.No.186, Home (Police XVII) Department dated 19.04.2023.
Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Government has issued G.O.(2D).No.439 dated 16.11.2023 based on the representation of the petitioner and also based on the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission have decided to grant reduced pension Rs.4,000/- per month and DCRG Rs.2,00,000/- to be granted to the petitioner, formerly District Officer on the date of his compulsory retirement. The said payment shall be made within a period of eight weeks. If the petitioner is still aggrieved, it is left open to the petitioner to proceed in the manner known to law.
