The petitioner/A2 seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.303 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

2. It is stated that A1 is in custody. Both the petitioner and A1 were found in possession of 116 bottles of liquor. It is stated that the petitioner herein ran away, but there is also a previous case as against him.

3. Taking that particular fact into consideration, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
