PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to modify the condition of executing a bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- imposed by the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore in Crl.M.P.No.5938 of 2019 dated 18.06.2019 in Cr.No.101 of 2019 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, K-6, T.P.Chatram Police Station, Chennai.

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to modify the condition of executing a bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- imposed by the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore in Crl.M.P.No.5938 of 2019 dated 18.06.2019 in Cr.No.101 of 2019 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, K-6, T.P.Chatram Police Station, Chennai.

2. Heard Mr.I.Abdul Basith, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Iyyapparaj, learned Additional Pubic Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The modification sought for on the condition that the petitioner should execute a bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with one surety for a like sum, does not require consideration, since such a condition is not for production of solvency certificate or securing the bond along with property title documents. absence of the same, there cannot be any impediment for the petitioner to execute a simple bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- along with one surety.

4. With the above clarification, the present Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
