Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records relating to the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.863/2022/A2 dated 02.08.2024 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the proceedings of
fund allocation and carrying of contract work with regard to Perambakkam Panchayat Village of Chithamur Panchayat Union at Serial Nos. 18 to 22 of the said order and direct the 3rd respondent to stop all the contract work related to the above said serial numbers and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to strictly comply the 12 conditions stipulated in the said order, and dispose the same. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the Administrative Sanction accorded by the first accorded by the first respondent, thereby awarding contract work in respect of Perambakkam Panchayat Village of Chithamur Panchayat Union exclusively in favour of the fourth respondent, without any adverse conditions, as per the Administrative Sanction dated 02.08.2024.
2. The learned Government Advocate submitted that, so far, no contract has been awarded in favour of the fourth respondent. However, the respondents 1 and 2 must ensure that the third respondent
follows the conditions imposed in the Administrative Sanction dated 02.08.2024 while awarding contracts to the contractors.
4. In view of the above, if any contract work is awarded by the third respondent without following the conditions accorded in the Administrative Sanction, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action as against the third respondent on merits and in accordance with law.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are disposed of. No costs.
