ORDER
This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 22.03.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.7985 of 2024, thereby directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and pass order on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of the judgment delivered in C.A.No.6798 of 2019 dated 02.09.2019 and the order passed in W.P.No.19023 of 2021 dated 09.09.2021, within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondents considered the case of the petitioner and passed order in G.O.(2D)No.124 Environment, Climate Change and Forest (FR.2.(ii)) Department dated 09.11.2024 in favour of the petitioner. He also produced a copy of the above government order dated 09.11.2024, before this Court.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
