The petitioner is the 2nd plaintiff in the suit filed for cancellation of sale deeds executed by the 1st defendant in favour of the 2nd and 3rd defendants therein, for delivery of possession and for other relief in O.S.No.12861 of 2010 before the VII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai. The petitioner now seeks expeditious disposal of the said suit.
2. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

Learned counsel for the revision petitioner would bring to my notice that the suit was initially filed before this Court even way back in the year 2002 and the same was subsequently transferred to the City Civil Court and the same is now pending in O.S.No.12861 of 2010 on the file of the VII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this revision seeking expeditious disposal of the said suit, which is pending for more than two decades.
4. In the light of the above and also considering that an Page No.2 of 4
interlocutory application in I.A.No.8 of 2024 is pending, this Court directs the VII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the said IA within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and simultaneously proceed with the trial in the suit in O.S.No.12861 of 2010 and dispose of the same finally on merits and in accordance with law on or before 31.01.2026, after hearing the parties.
5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
