O R D E R

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.08.2025, for the offence punishable under Section 64, 351(2) of BNS Act, altered under Sections 64, 351(1) of BNS, in Crime No.53 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/3

2. The statement of the victim lady registered under Section 183(b) of BNS Act reveals that the petitioner, who resides in the neighbouring house, had intercourse with the victim lady, and when the relatives of the victim questioned him, he even filed a complaint against them.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the the investigation is completed and the release of the petitioner on bail may lead to tampering with the evidence. Therefore, he opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
