O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide separate service connection for the petitioner's premises by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2025.

2. Mr. L.Jaivenkatesh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the 1st Respondent.

3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the 2nd respondent, notice to the 2nd Respondent is dispensed with.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that he entered into a lease agreement with the 2nd respondent in respect of a subject property comprised in Survey No.61/2C measuring to an extent of 5406 sq.ft situated at No.499, GNT Raod, Thandalkalani for a period of five years and had paid a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- towards advance lease advance amount. In order to avail separate electricity service connection for the petitioner's premises, he made a representation dated 2/4

26.06.2025 before the 1st respondent. However, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition seeking the aforesaid relief.

5. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

6. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondent has no objection to the said order being passed.

7. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 23.06.2025 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the 2nd respondent and aggrieved persons if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
