Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus direction on the Respondents 1 to 2 to consider petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2025 along with petitioner subsequent representation dated 27.06.2025 for cancelling Patta No.12 issued in favour of the 3rd Respondent and issue Patta in Petitioners name through the lawful proceeding initiated in Na.Ka.nO.1302/2025/C dated 28.04.2025 within a stipulated period of time by granting opportunity of personal hearing 1/5
For Petitioner : Mr.V.Vijayakumar For Respondents 1 and 2 : Mr.C.Jayaprakash Government Advocate Order Heard Mr.V.Vijayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission and considering the nature of relief to be granted herein, notice to the respondents 3 to 7 is dispensed with.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for the following prayer:- i) For issuance of a mandamus on the respondents 1 to 2 to consider petitioner's representations dated 28.03.2025 and 27.06.2025 for cancelling Patta No.12 issued in favour of the 3rd Respondent and to issue Patta in in the name of the petitioner through the lawful proceeding initiated in Na.Ka.No.1302/2025/C dated 28.04.2025 within a stipulated period.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if the representation made by him seeking for aforesaid prayer is considered and disposed of in a time bound manner. 2/5

The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 produced a proceedings issued by the second respondent addressed to the Government Pleader Office, High Court, Madras, dated 11.09.2025, bearing Na.Ka.No.06/2025/Aa3 and submitted that representation made by the petitioner has been considered by the respondents 1 and 2 and already proceedings in that regard has been commenced, however, seeks four week's time to complete the same.

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2 and the proceedings dated 11.09.2025 issued by the second respondent, wherein, the second respondent has sought for four weeks' time to conduct and complete the enquiry in regard to the prayer made by the petitioner in his representation dated 28.03.2025, this Court is of the view that suffice, it would be to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to act in accordance with the proceedings dated 11.09.2025 in a time bound manner. 3/5

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to act in accordance with the proceedings dated 11.09.2025 and complete the enquiry proceedings as regards the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the representation dated 28.03.2025 and dispose of the representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the parties concerned, particularly, third respondent. No costs.
