.. Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondent for his willful, deliberate disobedience in complying with the order passed by this Court dated 11.5.2022 in W.P.No.12496 of 2022.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, by placing on record the letter dated 16.8.2022, learned State Government Pleader submitted that the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), Coimbatore requested the District Manager, Coimbatore South to select some other place for establishment of the TASMAC shop and, thus, the order of this Court dated 11.5.2022 in W.P.No.12496 of 2022 has been duly complied with. He has also handed over a copy of the letter to learned counsel for the petitioner and undertakes to communicate to the petitioner within two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, the contempt petition is closed. No costs.
