The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 457 & 380 read with 34 of IPC in Crime No.73 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has involved in theft of Rs.90,000/-. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent would submit that already this Court dismissed the petitioner's earlier anticipatory bail petition in Crl.O.P.No.25153 of 2022 dated 18.10.2022 stating that the petitioner has got 4 previous cases of similar in nature. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has got four previous cases of similar in nature and also considering that there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
