This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Cr. No.283 of 2022 and to file charge sheet within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though the respondent has registered the complaint in Cr.No.283/2022 on 20.10.2022, so far charge sheet has not been filed.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that after completion of investigation, a final report has been filed as "Mistake of Fact" before the Criminal Judicial Magistrate-I, Maduranthakam and the copy of referred charge sheet is yet to be served to the petitioner. 2/4

5. Considering the same, the respondent police is directed to serve a notice about the referred charge sheet to the petitioner and on receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty either to accept the same or to file a protest petition or initiate appropriate proceedings under Section 156(3) or 200 Cr.P.C., before the appropriate forum.

6. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
