Mr.K.Ramya For Mr.G.Mohammed Abdullah COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to quash the C.C.No.68 of 2017 on the file of the Additional Magila Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Allikulam.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a joint Memo of Compromise have been filed before this Court, which have been signed by the petitioners and the second respondent and also by their respective counsel. Mrs.Vani, petitioner in Crl.OP.No.18825 of 2017, is present and identified by her counsel and the Police. She also produced the copies of the Aadhaar Card, which made part of the record. This Court also enquired her and was satisfied that the parties have come to an amicable settlement between themselves.
3. In view of the compromise entered between the parties and since the offences committed are compoundable in nature, this Court is inclined to quash the proceedings pending before the Court below.
4. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions are stands allowed and as a sequel, the proceedings in C.C.No.68 of 2017 on the file of the Additional Magila Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Allikulam is quashed and the terms of Joint
Memo of Compromise shall form part and parcel of this Order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. * Xerox Copies of Memo of Compromises USR.Nos.1597 & 1598 dated 22/02/2021 are enclosed.
