This Court, by order dated 07.08.2017, granted an order of interim stay on condition to deposit a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs only) out of the total award amount with proportionate interest and costs by the appellant / Transport Corporation, within a period of six weeks. While passing such order, it was specifically mentioned therein that in the event of failure on the part of the appellant to deposit the said amount within the specified period, the interim stay granted would stand automatically vacated without any further reference to this Court.

2. Today, when the case was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the appellant has not complied with the aforesaid conditional order. 1/2 http://www.judis.nic.in
