O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members by considering the 1/4

representation made by the petitioner before the first respondent on 09.11.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for without any valid reasons, the petitioner has been frequently called and threatened by the respondent police and hence he has filed this Criminal Original Petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Muthusamy who is the father of the petitioner's wife that his daughter was missing, the petitioner was called upon for enquiry; but however, a final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate - II, Pollachi and further action has been dropped.

5. Even in the petition filed by the petitioner, it is stated that there is some misunderstanding between himself and his wife and they are living separately. Since the wife of the petitioner was missing, his father-in-law had 2/4

given a complaint. On that ground alone, the petitioner seems to have been called for enquiry. However, now it is learnt that the complainant's daughter is traced out and she is back to home. Hence, there is no necessity to call the petitioner for enquiry in this regard. In fact, on the complaint given by Muthusamy, a final report has been filed and further action has been dropped.

6. In view of the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
