The petitioner is suspected of forging document of title deed and encumbrance certificate to grab the land of the defacto complainant. 1/4

The respondent police before registering the First Information Report had called the petitioner herein for enquiry, but the petitioner instead of cooperating with the investigation, has came before this Court alleging that the police is harassing him.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submits that based on the complaint given by one Prakash and the documents produced by him claiming that his property has been grabbed by forging documents. The Investigating Officer sought for clarification from registration department and report is awaited. 4.

In the light of the above submissions, the petitioner alleging harassment is imaginary. The petitioner is bound to cooperate with the enquiry by producing the documents which are available with him. 5.

With this observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The dismissal of the petition does not mean that the police shall 2/4

adopt third degree method in the course of investigation. They should adopt the procedure contemplated under the law.
